And So It Begins...

Ah, so here we are. I meant to start this blog and anonymously chronicle my life as I left for University and experienced new things. Only that didn't happen because of one factor I forgot to consider: I procrastinate everything. Not only that, but I am also extremely forgetful (as I am sure you all will come to discover). So, here I am, two weeks into the start of my Freshman Year, and just now starting this up. I guess I should get to posting and so I can catch y'all up on whats happened to me so far.

Vertically Challenged

Okay, this is a sincere post to say one thing: WHY ARE ALL THE GUYS MY TYPE THAT I FIND HOT SO MUCH SHORTER THAN ME!?!? I try not to be too superficial about appearances, but one of my only deal breakers is when a guy is shorter than me. I can deal with the same height, or even an inch under, but literally every hot guy I see is multiple inches shorter than me. It's not even like I'm super tall or anything. The average adult male height in the US is 5'10, and I am exactly that. So why is every hot guy 5'8 or under? It honestly doesn't even make sense. Denim Difficulty

Today I am bringing you all a slightly random and off-the-wall post about a problem I face every single year: Jeans. Now, I love a good pair of jeans. They're a wardrobe classic and can be worn for basically every outfit in fall, winter, and the beginning of spring. My issue, however, lies in the fit. I have never found a perfectly fitting pair of jeans.  I guess the issue lies in my unique physique. You see, my entire life I have been extremely thin. Too thin. Every time I went to the doctor for a yearly checkup, they would find that was I was generously beneath the healthy weight for my height, and proceed to ask many pointed questions about how much I ate and whether I ever felt the desire to throw up food after eating it. High School Baggage

Today marks the end of my second official week of classes at college, and this weekend will be my third weekend of living in the dorm. It's a bit surreal to be looking back now. Three weeks of freedom. Three weeks of independence. Three weeks of confusion. You know, in the movies they tell you that college is when you can finally be accepted for who you truly are. The gay characters in movies are always suddenly out of the closet and living fabulous lives. Well, I am here to tell you that this is not the case. Rather, I have baggage leftover from high school in a couple different forms: First, I have no experience with casually coming out.
